It really is so easy to choose healthy meals when eating out. Granted, some restaurants do not have healthy eating options, but so many do. And, now many even offer their nutritional info online and/or on the menu.
I like to know where we’re going ahead of time, so I can look up the menu online and plan what I’m going to eat. I can check out the nutritional information, figure out my points, and make a choice, or at least get an idea, of what I will eat before I get to the restaurant.

The first time I walked into the gym, I was overwhelmed. Where to start, what to do? All those people in there working their butts off, and I felt like a fat lump. They were going to laugh at me! But, I made up my mind that I wanted to do this, so I jumped on the treadmill, I set it for 30 minutes. Ten minutes later, my legs were wobbly, and I gave up. Thought I was going to embarrass myself by falling on my face! But, I didn’t. I wasn’t satisfied with that 10 minutes, so I decided to ride one of the stationary bikes. Upright or recumbent? I chose the recumbent because it looked easier. I already had an upright bike at home. Because I had a bad back (because of my weight and an epidural due to two deliveries), I found the recumbent to be easier. I rode that for 30 minutes. Did it make me tired? Yep, it sure did. I gave up on trying any of the other machines, got dressed and went home. Satisfied that at least it was a start!
